Lyndsay Biccum, age 23 of Prescott was born with Cystic Fibrosis. For most of her life Lyndsay was a healthy and Very attractive Girl. She especially loved playing Hockey & Soccer. Unfortunately the Cystic Fibrosis had deteriorated Lyndsay’s lung function over the last several years to the point where she required a lung transplant. On November 4, 2011 Lyndsay received a double lung transplant at the Toronto General Hospital. Her recovery has been miraculous, but she still has a long road of recovery, testing, and physiotherapy ahead of her. She will need to remain in Toronto for the next several months to be close to the Transplant Centre. Lyndsay and her family are so very thankful for the blessing of the lung transplant and all the wonderful support received from family, friends, and communities.
Lyndsay’s hope is to one day play hockey again, and we have no doubt that she will.
